Variable lists
The variable lists provide an overview of all variables available within the SIMPLER cohorts. These lists include both original variables collected through questionnaires or examinations and derived variables created for analytical purposes.
The Excel files contain an overview of variable categories and descriptions of individual variables. It is recommended that users review the “Categories” and “Overview” tabs before selecting variables for a study.
Always download the latest version of the variable lists for each application to ensure that you are working with the most up-to-date information.

When applying for data, delete unwanted variables from the excel file, and keep requested variables in the variable list you upload in iLab. Use this Swedish version of the variable list for SMC and COSM xlsx, 164 kB. (excel document) when needed, for example for ethical applications. DO NOT use the Swedish version when applying for data.
