SIMPLER has an operations and management office in charge of the day-to-day work, a Steering Committee responsible for making decisions concerning strategical issues and assessing governing documents, as well as an advisory group consisting of expert representatives from each of the collaborators in the consortium – the Consortium’s Collaboration Board. Additionally, there is an International Advisory Board. The SIMPLER biobank is registered under Uppsala Biobank according to current legislation, but the samples are administered and managed by SIMPLER.
